Ok, it's been a little while, so it's time to update the blog. Still haven't taken a picture of Marcus' truck yet, but it's looking good with the new wheels, tires and running boards. He also got a bed extender and a 6-disc cd changer and right now, it's at the upholstery shop getting leather seats. It's pretty sweet.
By the way, the Ranger is for sale...if you know anyone who wants a new truck, let me know. It's been good to me, just time to let someone else enjoy it.
Last Thursday night, Jenny and I went to Dream Dinners (www.dreamdinners.com) and made a bunch of dinners. It's one of those places where all the ingredients are there, you just put them all together in a baggie and then you can make the dinners at home. It was a lot of fun and now my freezer is full of good food, just waiting to be eaten. I'm going to make another dinner tonight. So far, the ham and potato strata is pretty good.
Monday night, I had my Book Club meeting. It was so fun. We had the author join us for the get-together. We read Chocolate Beach, by Julie Carobini. It's a Christian Chick-lit set in Ventura. You can check her out at www.juliecarobini.com. She has another book coming out in early 2008. We had a little beach party in a backyard and ate all kinds of good food. We had brownies, salad, chicken, bread and of course, chocolate chili! If you read the book, you'll know all about the chocolate chili!
Last night, we had our Bible Study. We talked about the 7 Pillars of our Faith - Salvation in Christ Jesus, the Integrity of God and His Word, the Force of Love, Our Authority in Christ Jesus, the Force of Faith, the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and the Power of Prayer. It was quite an evening of faith with lots of prayer for healing and Spiritual growth. We start the book of Romans in September.
That's it for now...more later!

Hey Lisa,
I've had a certificate to dream dinners for a while now. Totally forgot! Tx for the reminder. Do they have brownies???
:)
You know, they didn't have much for desserts, but I did get a free peach cobbler for signing up in August! You can't beat that! I made kung pao chicken tonight and it was delicious!
